How do I set up a payment method?

It is easy and will only take a few minutes to complete, follow the steps outlined below.

Steps for setting up a bank account for the first time:


If you do not have a bank account linked follow the steps below:


  1. Log-in to your borrower portal
  2. Navigate to your loan account you want to make a payment for. 
  3. Click Make a Payment. 
  4. You will be prompted to select or enter a payment method. 
  5. Click add payment method 
  6. You will prompted to Continue through the Plaid flow to link your bank account
  7. Select or search for the banking institution you use
  8. You will be prompted to enter your bank log-in credentials 
  9. Enter your phone number for the one time password to be texted to
  10. Enter the code sent to your mobile phone 
  11. Select the bank account you wish to link to your loan account for payments
  12. You will be prompted to read and agree to the terms of service
  13. Review the account you are linking to your loan account
  14. You will be returned to the Make a payment Screen
  15. From this screen you can make one-time payments and additional one-time payments

Steps for updating your payment method:


  1. Log-in to your borrower portal 
  2. Navigate to your loan account you want to make a payment for. 
  3. Click Make a Payment
  4. Click the dropdown menu under Payment Method
  5. Select Change Payment Method…
  6. There can only be one bank account stored on the loan account. If you click on the drop down menu under payment method and then select Change Payment Method the current bank account linked to your loan account will be replaced with the new bank account you link
  7. You will prompted to Continue through the Plaid flow to link your bank account
  8. Select or search for the banking institution you use
  9. You will be prompted to enter your bank log-in credentials 
  10. Enter your phone number for the one time password to be texted to
  11. Enter the code sent to your mobile phone 
  12. Select the bank account you wish to link to your loan account for payments
  13. You will be prompted to read and agree to the terms of service
  14. Review the account you are linking to your loan account
  15. You will be returned to the Make a payment Screen
  16. From this screen you can make one-time payments and additional one-time payments

We currently only support payments by ACH bank transfers.
